Finally got round to doing some work over xmas and decided to get my arse in gear, just a little confused on how to run an in car boost setup, i had a bleed valve before but surely just turning it in car is not a good idea. I aim to run about 10 psi on low boost and 15 or so on high, can i get the car rr'd on the 15 psi setting then decrease it to 10 or the other way round and would this run like crap? Spose i could go the mapped ignition route with 2 maps.... |

Rolling road tune the car to 15psi, then turn the boost down. This will make the car overfuel slightly but shouldn't be too bad.

Surely apart from a bleed valve your only other option would be to fit some kind of bleed off solenoid like on the original metty turbos so at flick of a switch you go from 10 to 15 psi? Whats going to break next!?

yes slim this is what i am planning to do, it is mentioned elsewhere how to do it, i think i will set the actuator to 10 psi then have a bleed valve after the solenoid dont know if this will work? |

I see no reason why not its the same principle as the metty turbo to change boost from 4-4.5 psi to 7 psi Whats going to break next!?

yes gav works a treat and easy to do just use your bleed valve to preset the extra boost if you use the switch and solenoid. always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |
