T3 Turbine Housing

I've just managed to strip down my T3 and have ordered a rebuild kit off Dan.

The only problem is that the turbine housing has a hair line crack in it Apparent quite common...

1). The reason I stripped the turbo was due to excessive oil burning due to worn seals etc. I doult crack would be attributed to this ?

2). If the crack is not venting pressure would it be feasible to continue using the housing, as cracked housing are quite common ?

What are everbodies thoughs/appinions on this ?

Does anyone have a servicable spare or could you advise where I could get a refurbed or new one ?

BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....
