Does anyone have any advice as to how to get those tiny wee circlips in and out of the central housing on the T3 to allow removal of the bearings, without grinding down an existing set of c-clip pliers or moding a pair of compasses ?

I mean I've seen bigger clips in swiss watches !!!

Cheers

BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

Some of the smaller circlip pliers have removeable tips which can go really very small. I would guess you should be able to get something to do the job? I personally have got some Britool pliers like this, that are reversible to do int and ext and have changable tips too.

Thanks Tom,

Appreciate your input.

I thought the hardest bit was freeing the housing bolts without shearing the heads off !!

"Turbo assembly spent a week sealed in a plastic box soaked in WD, each bolt got a good wack will a suitable drift, and then had a 12mm spanner tapped on to make up for the corrosion..."

Anyway I will endevour to perceiver....

The right tool for the job and all that...*happy*
