How difficult would this be to fit

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DIGITAL-SPEEDO-KAWAS...1QQcmdZViewItem

Personally i don't think it would be to hard, but have you guys got any experience of this type of dash?

Speed Sensor: No Contact Magnetic Sensor

Tacho Input: CDI or Ignition-coil signal

should go straight on then i reckon according to the description. will just be a magnetic signal like the push bike speedo's. Even the rev counter may work.

Hi,
If you do a search on this there were two or three suggestions on where to mount the speed sensor. *wink*
Cheers,
Gavin. :)

it quite clearly says "Tacho Input: CDI or Ignition-coil signal" .. i.e. it will work off the -ve side of the coil of a single coil engien, or you can use the diode trick as posted on msefi.com if you have a waisted spark (2-coil) setup.

turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

i've been looking at these, thinking about using one in my new car rather than the bike speedo i've got at the minute, mainly just because they've got a backlight!
