Not very sunny swanage

a few quick questions, easy ones for people already running the systems.... basically what i would like to know is where has evrything been mounted?

got the kit from alex (cheers mate..... actually reminds me... ive got to speak to you at some point...) all built up now (took about 45 mins to do, includiong prining out and reading the instructions!!! lol!!!)

already done the sensor and wheel etc......

so i now have a little box witht the mjlj in, the coilpack, and the edis module..... have vauge plans to mount the box of tricks and the edis module inside the car, on the bulkhead, (trying to hide as much of the wiring as possible..) but can these be bolted straight to the bulkhead or do they need to be mounted on a heatsink of any kind?

the coilpack will obviously have to go under the bonnet somewhere (limited by ht leads...) , but im not sure where.... anybody got any suggestions? again, can this just be mounted to a brascket or does it need a heatsink?

should have paid more attention when i was at the scrappy i guess, but it was well over a year ago now!!!! lol!!!

pics would be great, but otherwise would apreciate peoples points of views and ideas!!

cheers guys,

Pete

And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers!

the MS doesnt need a heatsink, but i would STRONGY recommend you mount it with rubbers or the thing will fall apart lol.

the coil pack i plan to install ontop of the clutch bell housing using the bolt holes from where the coil was.

The edis unit does need to dissipate heat so mount it on a nice piece of ally, as Nic explains in his "how to"

Hi,
I've got my coil pack on the coil mounting holes on top of the transfer housing. It's been there 2 years now, no problem. I'm using a Mondeo coil pack, and Escort HT leads. HTH.
Cheers,
Gavin. :)
