i have a clubman and i am trying to pipe up a R5 intercooler, i have sourced a different inlet for the plenum chamber from a meastro turbo in the brakers, but i am having a problem trying to get an samoc elbow on the pipe that comes out of the top of the turbo as it is very tight against the inlet manifold stopping an elbow from being push on fully, which in turn makes it tight underneath the inlet to the plenum.

You could either make one up or as i have done, unbolt, turn it 180degrees (gives better clearance)and weld a larger outlet pipe on to go with the rest of the intercooler hosing.
