has anyone got a pic of the mini turbo exhaust system fully assembled? i know its a long shot, its just i dont quite get it? thanks very much!

There is the manifold with turbo mounted onto... the shiny pipe to the right of the turbo is the downpipe which connects to the exhaust system after that its just a normal exhaust, pretty much.

yeh it does help thanks i am just confusd by the way the downpipe connects, does it just connect 2 the center section of the exhaust? thanks!

yes, do you have the right downpipe?

its a maniflow on you need, available from places like avonbar

i think i will order the full system maniflow turbo exhaust for mini turbos what u thnk?

good idea, this will then fix onto the cast outlet pipe of the turbo, although you will need to grind out the clamp slightly to make it fit

Are you using a T2 or T3? If it's a T2 like in the picture above, the Mirage manifold comes with the downpipe, so you just need the exhaust as if you were fitting it to a LCB

i am hoping to use the standard exhaust manifold and fit a t2 to that manifold? like jimster has done? i thnk? what will i need to do to do this then?

you'll need a custom one off downpipe making up then dude...

brilliant i thnk i'll hav 2 save for a week of two! lol u knwo if u buy turbo pistons do u need a re-bore to take it to 1293cc? or is it a difference in the piston size? thanks guys for all ur help so far!

i am on a budget but i guess i'll have to wait and then eventually spend more? if that makes sense?

as i am in the process of buying a genuine mg metro 1275 engine and i think the best route for me to go down the turbo path would be to turbo the mg unit as it is a very good engine?! soit shouldnt give me many problems? fingers crossed? i am going to start ggathering the parts ASAP i need a website to get modified plenums so i can run an intercooler and dump valve at the same time if anyone knows any sites? or has one second hand,
i did put a wanted add up but i have recived no replies so maybe mini 1071s you could have a look at it and see if you have any of the spares i need? by the way do you think you could pm me yyour msn addy please as i'd like to pick your brains abit? thanks and sorry about the way i was writing!

Well you could just throw a turbo on a metro engine as long as it's not a MG high compression one or on its last legs! But you can only run 10psi with an I/C. Depends on what spec he wants?
Mirage have the manifolds in stock for immediate dispatch!

for the mirage, you just need a 2" mid pipe and tail pipe, as it already comes with a stainless downpipe to suit
