I'm, sure you know but for anyone elses benefit you need to make sure you thoroughly wash off the packing oil that ARP use, paraffin or another suitable solvent will do, then use the ARP supplied lube and torque settings.

is it the arp studs that require the head to have its stud holes chamferred or slightly countersunk?

or am i rehashing another mini myth?

can't speak for the arps, but it is a good idea to slightly countersunk your stud holes any way for what ever you use :)

Hi,
Well the discs came about due to a disaster really! The N/S wheel bearing was fubar, so I got one to replace it, this is where it all goes horribly wrong :(
Jack up car, remove wheel, remove hub nut. Remove caliper, brake pad fell apart. Found hubnut cracked, CV thread stripped. So I went from bearing to cv + discs and pads.
Got the above, fitted CV, bearing, disc and caliper. Pistons won't go back into caliper :(
So Now I've got 2 new calipers as well!
This wheel bearing is getting very expensive! *surprised*
'Spose I can't grumble though, they've been on there 12 years!
Oh by the way, do you think £50 for the ARP was a good price? *wink*
Cheers,
Gavin :)
