cheers guys

I have a cooper s spring valve type assembly which i need to replace (the springs are about 5mm shorte than std) is this mini spres set the correct one for my head?

now for a really stupid question...
some gears in my gearbox have one groves in all the teeth is this normal?there is no sign of ware (for me at least ) besaide this particulary.

Yes on a+ I know 3 grooves per cog is the econemy gear set

did leyland fit those on turbo boxes??
what about the springs?

thanks for anwsering
i know that most of my questions must sound very stupid but i´m new in engine building an this is my first rebuild and there is so many issues that haynes doesnt cover
