hello

iv done a quick seach but couldnt find anything.

im going to look (propoly buy) a 1293cc block.
it has new bearings, re-ground crank, and slipper pistons etc.

he says there dished but he doesnt know by how much.
will these be of any use to my turbo project would you think? it will be used for the road and i want to use 8-12psi.

it doesnt have a head on it, but iv got a turbo head coming from a mate of mine.
is there a way of measuring the dich in the actuall pistons? iv asked him but he said that he hasent got the right equipment or somthing.

ok is there a way of measuring the dish of the pistons while there in the engine?
on the top of the piston there is a code or ID on them they are:

symbole of AE 21251+020KBD

does this mean anything?

I searched for "21251" and got about 12 posts to look at, try this one-

vmaxchap's reply in that thread tom linked to is quiet apt. 21251 pistons are for stock rebuilds only, and even then i wouldnt use them.

looks like ill be after some differnt pistons!
what would happen if i was to use them? would it compleatly fuck my engine up?
