Hi.

Can anyone help with a throttle pot for a 92 Audi 80 coupe 2 litre 8 valve, the unit has the no 037907385H on it.

I think it is the same as the one on a Golf GTI

Audi want £80 for one, has anyone managed to better this?

Cheers,

You could try phoning GSF

I know someone in Hitchin who was going to scrap a 2.0 8v 80 quattro. It runs but has an electrical fault that he can't be bothered to fix.

If you were prepared to take the whole car I could check to see if he's got rid of it yet.

why do you need a throttle pot? These never go!!

What's the issue with the car? Or have audi definitely diagnosed that it's the pot?

Audi have diagnosed the pot, cleared the fault code and it showed up again.

Hi,
It could well be the wiring, as a fault code only tells you the ECU is losing the signal. Many poeple wrongly blame the component, fit a new one only to find its the same!
Cheers,
Gavin :)
