Spent this morning at the rolling road.

Apart from a minor mishap went the car decided to jump off, everything went great.

For those that dont know, I've just built this engine and set it up roughly to run it in, this is the ifrst time its been rollered properly.

Went in with 120 bhp as seen below

After a few tweaks, got a nice curve all the way up to 140
The black lines were the final run......
*happy*

Can't wait till I get a new head on it and a little more boost.

Good one. You must be pretty happy with that!

But why is the bottom one in road speed???? And why does the lines not cross at the right point in the top graph? It looks like the 'final' lines in the bottom graph probably do though...

All in all - good result though.

He did graphs against rpm and mph, just happens thats the one he printed I think.

It was done at Collins Motoring Services in Erdington Birmingham.

i think the blip at the end may have been when it hit the limiter, not sure though.

Im over the moon, it drives like a dream, no coughs farts or anything, so smooth through the range.

If anyone is thinking about mapped ignition, all I can say is do it, you will not be dissapointed.

Cheers for the comments guys *happy*

Well, If i can add something in here...
I'd stick with your 140 hp / lb-ft powerplant as is for the time being. It's more than you're accustomed to in a mini - and more than your mini itself is accustomed to. You'll know when the time is right, but i suspect it isn't yet... *wink*
