finally got round to piping up my oil catch tank last night.

I've got it squeezed in just below the master cylinders but i wondered if there would be any problems if i ran a pipe from the outlet of it down the bulkhead so it exited underneath the car rather than in the engine bay? still get some fumes out of it so i'd rather not be breathing em in thats all.

Nick :)

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

nic i would opt to fit it under the drivers wing out of the way

no fumes there to go in the cab mines in the engine bay and it gets bad! breathing sometimes .....lol

i have to alter things and this is where mine is going to go but.....there are many options!

yeah i was going to stick it there but i've got a flip front so no inner wings. my washer bottle is on whats left of the drivers and my horn is the passenger side :(

i just wondered if i'd get any ill effects if the pipe from the outlet ran down below the level of the tank thats all?

I thought it would be better to have the catch tank as high as possible in the engine bay???

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Hi,
I've got my breather pipes all joined together to one pipe, ran that toward the front of the engine over the starter motor. On the end of the pipe fit a small breather type K&N filter, as this will stop any crap getting sucked in as the enigne cools. Works for me, no fumes in the car! *wink*
Cheers,
Gavin :)
