help - charge cooler advice sought

my mate has got an rs charge coolerkit for sale i have been told this can used in the mini can use give me some info asap

Sorry i dont know anything about such things but heres a tip, if you use a slightly more imaginative topic title

e.g "Fitting rs charge cooler to mini, is it possible?"

rather than "help" which is pretty obvious otherwise why else post in the help needed section? then other members may be interested and read your post.

Hi,
Anything will fit anything, with enough engineering. What you need to do is have a look at the kit, and see if there's enough room under the bonnet to fit.....
Charge coooler
Cooling Rad
Water pump
Water Reservoir
Then look at how to get the boost pipes routed ect. If you can do all of the above then it will fit
As far as I know, no one has fitted a charge cooler to a mini yet......

IMO - They're over-rated for a road car. Drag strip action - and properly specc'd, engineered & installed - Sure.
Road car - Overkill.

Whilst it's definately good to ask - I think you can rely on the lack of Charge-cooler users on this site for an overall opinion; that's to say - They're just not needed.
