I have recently come across a Pre 1985 turbo engine, and have notice a few differences:
Edited by Tom Fenton on 23rd May, 2006. BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

The Mk1 dizzys are different yes, and allow the use of a side-entry dizzy cap.

Opps just noticed I started this in the shows your bit doh!

I should think the square drive on the gearbox for the speedo cable is the same as a mini on early ones,as later metros have valeo instruments which use a smaller square drive cable.

I won't bother changing mine over to the early one then just wait till I get a mega jolt set up.
