Horndean - Near Portsmouth

Hi, my mate is building a N/A beasty clubman, he is currently looking into some roller rockers!

Hes not entirely sure what spec he wants, the spec of his engine is:

1340cc
286 Cam
Stage 4 Head

Based on the spec of the bottom end what rockers would best suit this setup? Any info/tips would be fantastic.

I'd put 1.5s on a 286 cam, but don't ask me what springs to use with them.

What make cam? Check with manufacturers of said cam.... If it's a Piper use 1.3:1 *wink*

286 is a Kent cam, hense I suggest using 1.5s.

As you say Bat, wouldn't biother with a Piper.

Hi,
As you say Will, correct springs would be crucial if it's to last more than a week!
However if it's for road use, maybe 1.3's would make it a little less cammy?

if your budget is up to it go for the TITAN roller rockers these are the best IMHO

richminiturbo.
