here's an idea for you... how about a block of iron or something that rubs on the brake disk as you drive along giving you that 'hot disk' look :)

that reminds me of the time i saw a peugeot 406 touring car at a show , the time when tim sugden was driving for them, i noticed the big brembo calls appeared to be very very close to the rim ,so proded it to see if it was loose ,and it was some kind of plastic mock up that just wobbled on its mounts,
