I'm a self employed electrician by trade but, with many interests in the building trade I also fit kitchens bedrooms and bathrooms and most home improvements , but my hobbies are cars and minis and I'm a big F 1 fan , I also love course and carp fishing, snowboarding with my eldest boy, walking / climbing mountains drinking copious amounts of beer or wine or anything that's alcoholic and eating good food , hmm I can't think of anything else at the mo *happy* *happy*

I build engines for Motorsport. Worked for Subaru World Rally Team for 12 years building engines and event support on rallies and i have been at Cosworth since Subaru pulled out building the V8 F1 engines. Only left with One team now and no engines to build for next year means I need a job at the end of the year. So if anyone knows of one going let me know. Cheers.

Hobbies wise. I'm to cycling not that I get enough time for it now with my little twins taking up all my spare time.

Luke- have a look into the new Bicester aerodrome development in progress. They're having 70 odd units being built especially for restoring vintage motors and air craft. Could be some interesting jobs going there!

Cheers Matty. Will take a look into that. Thanks

I'm an IT monkey for a well known energy supplier. Deal with all our mobile voice & data estate. Also dabble a bit with our infrastructure architect teams when possible. Hobby wise I like to play with Mini's when I can be bothered, snooker (when I can get to the pub), talking shite (all the time).

I'm a chartered building surveyor with my own practice which takes up a significant element of my time.

when I'm not at work, the family takes up a fair bit of my free time - parties have all gone from night time p***-ups to daytime birthdays and playdays!

Any other free time is taken up between DIY at the house (its never ending! - just finished the shed at the house in the hope I can get some tinkering time during the week) and time up at the workshop tinkering with the minis (and metro!). Got my old mans BSA sitting ready for a rebuild this winter which will be something new.

Have been known to get on a mountain bike or do a bit of hill walking but haven't really done much in the past couple of years

It's bloody good. Fairly similar to a straightforward mechanic, but bigger and occasionally more shit-covered. I get to spend a whole lot more time outside rather than in the workshop too. My missus does wonder how I can spend ten hours a day fixing tractors, then get home and break the tools out again though!

I did a 4 year apprenticeship at Fawley Power Station in Southampton in mechanical engineering. But they have closed that station now and i now work at Aberthaw Power Station in south wales.

Im a mechanical craftsman so i do a bit of everything, fitting, machining, welding. Basically anything mechanical to keep the station running and to stop the lights going out lol.

Outside of work im into mountain biking and walking. Also my family owns a vintage steam roller that we have restored and take to rallies all over the country. And of course i love tinkering with minis in the garage!

My project Toyota powered mini: http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.p...tid=470448&fr=0
