i have treid the search facility with neg result (my comp locks up)

Hole in rear bulkhead for spit. mk11 also.

Hydro and dry subframes are essentially the same. The difference being that the locating ring for the displacer has 3 or 4 (can't quite remember) tags it the outer ring into which the displacer is fitted by twisting coresponding notches in the unit. If you get my drift. To fit rubber units in the Hydro subframe just knock these tabs back and locate the donut and off you go.

cheers guys, i will take loads of pics tommorow morning when i see it......it may be a new edition in the pipeline, more of a full period resto than a turbo jobby. my turbo has priority at the mo tho :)

Just remember, there are LOTS of differences between the early MK1s and the late ones. Belt mounting points, push starter button bulkhead pressings etc. I'd do a search on http://www.minimania.com/msgthreads.cfm
