Chaps,

Further to a rather big discussion about the benefits of the NODIZ ignition ecu....

We will be coming to Mini in the park 2013...

Also.. We will be bringing the rolling road and doing some power runs!

Feel free to come chat to us, and if anyone has a NODIZ on their mini, I am sure we can press some buttons for you if you bring your laptop along and we are not too busy! *wink*

Cheers,
Matt

Just a notice to those with big power etc etc...

Although we have a rather HUGE cooling fan in our dyno cell, being 3-phase means we cant possible bring it to the show. We do however have our smaller more direct portable one. This usually surfices for power runs on anything up 600+bhp Nissans etc(we also do the Japfest shows etc), so it should be OK.

Heatsoak will be an issue however on any turbocharged car, so please do bare this in mind. We recently did the Ren 5 turbo day for the second year running, and they are always very pleased with both results and the cooling setup.

Its more of a 'notice to those intending to claim big bhp and be embarrassed in front of their peers at the real power' rather than anything else!

At Japfest 2, an S13 claimed 308bhp the DAY BEFORE on a hub dyno in a dyno cell. The DAY AFTER at Japfest 2 a couple of weekends ago, on our dyno dynamics rolling road, with our little cooling fan, it made 307bhp... we were happy, and so was he :)

How many shows do you go to where the RR is free? I dont really go to many shows but i would guess you normally have to pay some fee.

Free for Nodiz though just to piss you lot off even more haha (joking i've no idea)

Preston On The Brook

Or you could pay £30 and run the strip as many times as you want throughout the day and work out your HP from the time slips.

Which one is more fun *happy*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Sprocket yes you could, but that wouldn't tell you if there was potentially more to come from the engine... though a RR (coupled with some knowledge!) would do....

That and people ALWAYS want to know their true horsepower! Though I guess F=MA may get you pretty close hehe
