Does anybody know if an incorrect float level will have an affect at large boost pressures??????

As i have fitted a new fuel pressure reg, new pump checked carb jets etc etc but still having fuel issues.

Co at four on tickover reducing to .25 on boost

Any help would be appreciated as getting bored now.....

Thought you said you can see it going lean - presumably meaning you have an O2 sensor? Or have you got a 'special black box' other than an ignition module?

Well on the rollers it went from 4 Co down to 1/2 Co on boost, i have checked all the other items you suggested, but i noticed the fuel bowl level was well out and i wondered if the carb hasnt got enough fuel at the bottom it would cause this lean out on boost (15psi)

Not really.
It's an electric pump that can supply a lot more fuel than the engine can take, so even a low fuel level won't 'drop' the CO like you describe.

I'm sure Tom has asked this - but is the needle re-profiled? You can't run 15psi on a standard needle - it'll lean out just as you describe. Surely the RR operator (if he's any good) would have sorted this though?

Hi,
I would have thought it possible, but it would need to be so low that the jet can't suck the fuel up. Have you got the right gasket between the plenum and carb? Is fuel pressure staying above boost pressure? As Dave says it won't be ignition. *wink*
Cheers,
Gavin. *wink*

Hi,
I've read on here the best place is to connect it to the pipe coming out of the side of the plenum IIRC.
Chers,
Gavin. :)
