Well doing a spot of grinding today, slipped with the grinder and caught myself right on the end of the thumb..... :(



Luckily I was wearing a pair of gloves, and of course some glasses. I think if I had not had the gloves on it could have been bad, as it is it has nicked my nail and cut into the skin, but no blood. Here is what the glove looked like



Anyway, I still have some glasses and a couple of pair of gauntlets left from when I was selling them before, anyone interested PM me.

Here are the glasses, good quality very clear easy to see through you don't know you've got them on.

ouch, those under-nail cuts really hurt, too. lucky git not to be worse

lucky mate, im always paranoid of using the angle grinder lol, probs one of the few tools (besides welder) which ill only use with full gloves and goggles.

i always wear gloves and goggles after seing some of the posts on this site lol

ha ha ha, it was only when I went to get a new pair of gloves out I realised I still had some glasses etc left.....

I did something very similar two weeks ago. Glad I had gloves on too. It's just about back to normal now.

Did almost the exact same thing Tom! only a little bit deeper, so it started bleeding. I wore gloves too...

Few years ago when welding the Mini I was keeling down in the car, welding away.
After a while I noticed my arse was getting warm, wondering why I got out the car to find my sock on fire!
