What are you gents using to connect your air filters to the compressor housings, are there cheaper or better options than the "uncrushable" type that avonbar sell?

i will be using a 60mm silicone elbow like so:
"Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

I use the hose, i think its cheaper from merlin.

i managed to squeeze a 52mm silicone elbow on the end of the turbo On 15th of Apr, 2007 at 09:08pm Vegard said:

Im after a section 60mm od to fit on a t2. Was looking the stuff from merlin, couldnt work out why the avon bar stuff is so much more?

you can buy an air filter that fits straight on to the turbo, that's another option. Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

I did a similar thing to below and found the silicone hose sucked in quite a bit on boost, be careful of that as you will be choking the flow :)

ive got a silicone bend on mine, then i just use the normal (not high temp) brake ducting available from trident/merlin/etc...

HHmmm, maybe. :) BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....
