What are you gents using to connect your air filters to the compressor housings, are there cheaper or better options than the "uncrushable" type that avonbar sell?
Cheers
Shane.

Is that 60mm in new money? *wink*
I need to be accurate as this pipe is available in 60 and 63mm IDs and I've only got one size!
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

I use the hose, i think its cheaper from merlin.
But to be honest, i would use silicon and alloy tubing to make something. the hose is ok but not brilliant, doesnt take much to go through it.

Proven 200+bhp & Avon Park 05,06,07 Class D 3rd place

you can buy an air filter that fits straight on to the turbo, that's another option.

Hi,
I can get this in 60mm...

I'm going to check it fits the T2 I've got at my w/shop. If it fits it should be around half that price...
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I did a similar thing to below and found the silicone hose sucked in quite a bit on boost, be careful of that as you will be choking the flow :)

If the filter was sucking in a lot, that surely points to a restrictive filter?

There shouldn't be that much vacuum in there.
