I've never run my car with Nos, never even mounted the bottle. Doubt I'll bother to be honest. On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

so : Clamp Load N (lbs) 3114 (700) 4893 (1100) 5560 (1250) for the orange, grey and double grey, so in other words I was wrong in my first post. Will delete that just to avoid confusion. Edited by miniminor63 on 25th Mar, 2008. |

http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=10837 I do have my one piece of data for the grey, and this measured 920lbs in the area where the actual clamping is concerned, and 1100lbs as the spring is pushed over-centre as the clutch is being opened. I'll have to fix up my old machine to see how the double grey compared. Maybe springs just go weak over time? On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

To be honest its all a bit subjective. i give my car some beef and i've not had it slip yet. Not sure on the actual specs etc but its a fair amount of bananas and curly wurlys. There's an easy low 14/high 13 in there if not more to be honest, and my car probably weighs in at 700kgs. |

Another thing with my car, not sure if its relavent, but all it has done is very hard standing starts. Call it 2 a length of the strip, one for the burnout and one for the launch.

I think the weight of my car is the problem, on the rollers I don't get a problem, also on the strip I didn't have any issues. (that was with the car weight being 640kgs inc driver) around combe I had Endaf in the car he's about 80kgs so 720kgs total, I was getting slip then. This is with a sintered plate, double grey diaphram and the back plate lugs machined. On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:
