has anyone on here got a side exhaust? i've got one now but i/m after making it come out of the sills. are their any pics of any done?

Personly And i mite be wrong but i wouldn't cut in to the sill. You could come up though the floor in to the rear bin and out the side above the sill, not sure on how legal that would be or not. then box the pipe in to stop people burning things. |

i've thought about a side exit ex, as i like the idea of seeing how the car is running, IE if there is a problem you might soon see the smoke out of the side :) Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

it looks great, Vizards top hill climber in his first book used a side exit Tuned length ......... this is some 30 odd years a go

my rally x metro had a tuned side exit whih came through the sill, the whole floor pan was modded only the front two footwelss were "metro" this was to keep the whole exhaust assembly high and tight
