heres a few pics

engine spec is..

lightened and balanced con rods,
crank which has been lightened, balanced, wedged and x drilled
omega pistons
phase 3 cam
turbo oil pump
new followers
double valve springs
1.5 roller rockers
gear box has been fully rebuilt with upgraded bearings, central oil pick up and straight cut drop gears with a 3.1 final drive and a X pin diff
lightened push rods
lightened and balanced flywheel
center main strap
billet aluminium crank pulley
the head is a stage 4 MED head which has had the chambers opened up to 28cc and modified for low compression
adjustable kent vernier lightened timing chain
its running on elecy dizzy with 8mm racing plug leads
turbo clutch and clutch plate
inch and 3 quarter carb
15% supercharger pulley
eaton 45 supercharger running on 10psi instaed of the standard 8

it ran 130BHP on rollers on standard boost then decided to blow head gasket on a power run so there was still more power to come. with me running more boost now id like to see 140-150BHP once set up again.

what compression do you run for 10psi with no intercooler?

I'd get a filter in there ASAP or you will end up with big lumps of stuff in your charger!

You can't run a charge cooler with suck through setups like this. you end up with loads of fuel in the cooler - not good.

ive got a oil cooler right in front of the carb so dont really have to worry about big stuff getting in the charger lol

im sure i read somewhere something was being made up for the supercharged engines where it could be charge cooled. could be wrong though.

Get a filter on it....

looks nice, but as the others have said, get a filter on it, the last thing you want is crap screwing up your charger!

how come you've decided to go to 13's from 10's?

just thought id try it. cant get much traction low down with tens either hopefully they wont ruin the handling.

just ordered some solid engine mounts for the mini as i have shredded the ones on there lol. also bought a bigger bore manifold and the head is going to MED monday to have the chambers opened up a bit more to hopefully give me a few more hp once it gets set up on the rolling road again.

Nice mini... Is that a morespeed phase 3 cam? I'm thinking of fitting one to mine. Whats the low down torque like combined with your 3.1 diff. Are all your gears straight cut?

yes its the morspeed cam. low down torque is fine with the 3.1 i get to end of fourth gear within no time. no they are just the drop gears

just got a run about car while the mini is off the road having some bits done to it.
