If it is rich across the range a tweak of the mixture screw migh improve matters until you get back to the roling road.

Wow! That map is a light year out especially in the purple area... Craig. Why is the timing so retarded at that point. ?

I dont know *frown*

Its based on the original dizzy map from james fawcetts site.

Slark couldnt really set the car up properly as it was burning oil like there was no tomorrow when we were there so he did the best he could at the time

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Is your timing right? Check your trigger wheel with a light, it should read the same as the display on the mj software.

Be very very sure that the trigger is calibrated correctly or you can easily damage the engine.

If at 15 degrees advance at idle, it wont idle, it needs more air, not advance. If after adding more air, it is lean, it then needs more fuel.

Basic tuning.

andy that map shit me one omega I had to back it off no power drop at all after doing so.
modding the map which I will put up shortley, I basically dropped all the figures a 10 psi and under 8 to 10 degrees roughley its a a hot map if you are running compression figures at 8.7:1 or above
