Nick i now know why people charge so much for this, its hard work!

i will do yours for mates rates *tongue* .. however i guess im in debt to you a fair bit for all the help on the engine haha!

anyway following a bit of wet sanding..

before

after

That’s as good as I can get it.. still a fair bit to do, should get some real progress over the weekend.

Nice work:)

A couple of questions about the front end

Are you gonna use the grill to brace up the front end again or will the bonnet help enough on the pins?

Just curious as I've been thinking of cutting the bonnet out of my front end ?

Also do the wings flap around a bit at the a panel end or are they ok ?

Cheers

BTW - I took my buddy VTEC Pete out for a spin this weekend, and even though I am running her in, he gave it a name, the "Brocket"...cause I'm a brocket maaannn, nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah....

The grill is going back in, but that's not the brace, there is still fibreglass remaining between the 2 wings, (will take a pic for ya) the wings are fine once attached to the a panels.

Started to bolt the car back together, im not far off now, only the dash wiring and and issue with the brakes to sort and some other small jobs to go.

S2 elise seats with harness in.

all the glass and polycarbonate in now in, grill, arches and some trim fitted, still have to fit the badges and the bumpers yet. oh and the passenger side is about 20mm higher than the drivers so will be winding it down soon.

Its a bit high at the front at the moment, as i want to get it on the ramps for the MOT.

run all new brake and fuel lines inside the car sorted the engine, fuel pump and battery wiring and it started up with no issues :)

not long until mot time!
