Hi,



Front panel was done a while ago. So today I've welded on the wing and a panel, cut the arch out, fitted the new lip, deseamed and plated behind for strength.

Much ...... might need to grind the locating lugs off the drive flange as not all wheels fit over them

Here's a Blue Peter special. As I can't work Photoshop I have resorted to blocks of wood, sticky tape and mole grips for this mock up picture*surprised*

Looks like that kit fits WAY better than mine..... where did you buy it? Mine is an Autofashion kit .... had it over 7 years and it's not really progressed. Frustration from fitting it is probably the main reason the car hasn't been touched in 4 years (other than to rob bits off her ...)

Hi,
Roger ... Went to Zeemax, paid the price.
It does fit very well, especially when you consider no 2 minis are dimensionally the same!
I knew I'd end up in the same situation as you if it didn't fit well. Also it would drive me nuts for evermore if it didn't look right when finished. Fingers crossed!

As it was a bank holiday weekend, I've got cracking in the workshop....









Going to drop it down tomorrow and start welding the rear pockets back in and plate up a couple of holes *wink*
