Hi, am building up a 1293 turbo engine (yet to be re-bored) but need advice on what pistons i should use to achieve the correct compression ratio. The head is standard turbo with slight port work. Could anybody tell me what sort of compression ratio i would get using the omega 10cc dish pistons from avonbar? Or advise me on what i should use? Want to order parts this week as want to get it re-built asap so any advice/ answers would be aprreciated. Thanks |

It depends on what sort of boost/hp you plan on running.

The standard pistons are virtually bullet proof (there is a post with pictures, do a search) although if i'm correct they are not available in the first +20 oversize..
