Hi,
Just got back from the local rolling road, having video'd 2 members cars in a head to head shootout.

What you can't see in the videos is another mini suspended on a 2 post ramp above the car on the rollers!

While neither of the videos look that impressive, the figures spewed out the printer certainly were! :)

I think the lack of drama shows how well the cars were already setup, to Quote Bud666 "Just drive round with a piece of sandpaper and keep sanding a bit off"

Unfortunately Anton couldn't make it as someone had stolen his oil pressure :(

Thanks for that Gavin, was a good morning all in all and we both were very happy with our results.

Mine pushed out a respectable 187 nanas and 193 curly wurlys which was great.

Cant remember nicks figures but im sure he will post them

i didn't realise you were videoing it mate, i thought you were just taking some pics. Good to meet up again dude and the vids turned out quite well :)

Me and kean only went there to get a rough idea of what we were putting out and to see if we'd improved since last year. neither of us have had a proper RR setup, just helped each other out driving round and filing the needle to suit the wideband gauges.

I'm dead chuffed with the results though and it makes all the work of fitting up a T25 definately worthwhile.

Mine got 163 banana's and 171 curly's :)
running 11psi then after 4k it switches to high boost which peaks at 17 then levels at 15 after a second or 2.

so 30 more than last year and it doesn't drop off after 4k like it was doing last year for some unknown reason. plus its soooo much nicer to drive than my old T3, well in the dry anyway hehe.

chrikey thats some good power there chaps well done! i have to learn this needle filing black-ART! got some diagrams for it so fingers n toes crossed i'll do ok!

good results guys - torque curves aren't flat - but there is a LOT of area under them.lol!

our maps haven't been done properly yet, just kinda got the cars running and kept it safe and very conservative. i think i'm running 24 degrees max on boost.

I think the max boost figure is right
maybe start there and work your way out?
Nothing wrong with the peak figures, but if you can spread the torque over a wide rev band, you'll get more go for no money!

Hi,
I was thinking about taking some boost away at peak torque, but bringing torque up either side to give a flatter torque curve.
Hopefully that should make it a bit less of a handfull, therefore quicker?
I'm only guessing here as I've no experience of big boost motors, 20psi in a Cossie isn't anything like what I'd imagine 20psi to be like in a mini!
