Cheers chaps.

Oui Nic, le grille fits well. It's a little snug, but it goes on ok. I might need to put something soft between the alternator and cooler though as it 'nearly' makes contact.

Passed MOT!!

Just taxed the bugger and took it for a test run. All seems in order and the temps are down since it's got some decent airflow from a decent run.

Only small hiccup was plumbing the MBC backwards and seeing 19psi. I backed off rapidly and turned it clockwise to get a sensible 8psi.

I'm seriously happy, bring on the RR!

It'll be on them within the next couple of weeks.

I'll get in touch with unkle Ray on Monday.

At the moment it's running so rich that it fouls the plugs, and is on the richest light on the lambda. It I lean if out anymore it wont idle.

I just want to get it drivable to make the trip the the RR.

Make a list and check them off as you do them. The list will get longer, but you will have qa record of everything that you've achived so far.

Beautiful car! The intercooler pipework is very neat even though you have all those annoying things like the servo, inner wings and side mounted rads

Bit of a set back.

It's smoking badly. Mini13 and Benross have been helping me with the diagnosis. Turns out it's not the head or turbo :(

I'll be pulling the engine in the next couple of weeks to find out the cause.

Compression is still good, I'm just getting tons of oil in 3 and 4. Strange thing is, It was number 1 with the nasty vertical score.

Pics to follow once the offending parts are out.

Oh yes, This will also give me a chance to check wear on the thrusts.

I've been loosing about 400-500rpm with the clutch depressed. Fucking grey covers.
