I know there are a fair few on here that are planning on using or using the Gt17 but what are you doing with regards to dowpipe?

I am thinking of using the exact same specialist in Macclesfield - when I get round to it. I'm thinking of mocking up the flange and bend first and then taking it down to them and letting them work their magic. |

I had a flange and bell made up (£12) then used a tight 90 deg bend from tweekies and some other bits of pipe. Ahh, the return of the flange. All is right in the world once more :) VEMs Authorised Installer / Re-seller. K head kits now available!

Right...ive sussed out a way of making an elbow that shouldn't cost anymore than about £20-£30.

How did you end up sorting this Matty I am In the middle of trying to sort this on mine I spent the best part of Sunday afternoon trying to bell the end of some pipe to no avail :( On 17th Feb, 2009 Rob H said:

I went to my local exhaust company and found an old 2.5" exhaust (in the scrap bin) with a bell on the end. Chopped the end off then welded it to a 2.5" 90 degree elbow, bought a 2.5" trianglar flange off ebay, and welded the 90 degree elbow onto the 2" downpipe. All in all it cost me about £30 for the down pipe. Edited by matty on 22nd May, 2009. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel
