Hi,
I don't know about thick or thin but they both have a different number of teeth on them.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

k thanks for that dave, just minisport lists two types for non verto and then one for verto?? what differance would the extra thickness make if i count the teeth and have the same amount??

This may be a total "one-off" but it happened to me a couple of years ago...
PRE-Verto flywheel, clutch etc, but an early one with the wider ring gear.
Tried to fit it to an Aplus in place of the verto setup and it jammed in the transfer housing when I tried to tighten the main flywheel bolt.
My transfer housing had been factory machined to flywheel diameter but only back far enough for the narrower ring gear so the wider one fouled on the "as cast" bit behind.
I never figured out if it was the ring gear width, or the depth of my early flywheel that caused it, or a rogue housing, but I had to go round with a die grinder/carbide burr to ease the clearance out ever so slightly to let the flywheel with the wider ring gear fit.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

Hi,
If the wider one is the earlier one, it's probably been replaced by the later (thinner) one.
Cheers,
Gavin :)
