MegaJolt + Palm Pilot = ?

Hi Guys, its been ages since I last posted but today I have ordered my megajolt ECU and shall be heading home in a few weeks to start preparing for Avon Park 08 8-)


Anyway. I've been doing some browsing of old megajolt threads and have come accross this one:

As I don't own a laptop using an old palm based pda could be my perfect answer.

I have done a bit of googling but I have not found anything on using a Palm pilot to map mega jolt.

So I guess this is mainly aimed at Will or Ben, is it possible I could have some information on how you got it wired up?

I know somebody made a program for the pocket PC, but I haven't heard of anything for the palm. There should be loads of cheap old Ipaqs on ebay with a serial lead.

There is no reason why the palm can't be used with the megajolt, but I have only used it with the megasquirt. I don't know if anybody has written code for the jolt.

I was hoping for the answer "yea its easy here is the software" but if that isnt the case for jolt then its no problem. I guess I shall have to bite the bullet and buy a laptop!

A cheap one will do the job. Mine only runs Win98 and has mapped a couple of different brands of ECUs no problem.
Better if it's got a serial port, but not essential
