This engine has not been run yet and was just testing out the gearchange and clutch, and the clutch pedal was indcredibly hard to push. Its running a grey diaphragm and a road/rally plate, but i kept the shorter clutch arm from the verto setup.....would this be causing the problem? |

Probably, id change to the pre verto arm and relocate the slave back to the top of the transfer case.

Yes, I've done it for a while - the hose run is a bit odd as it connects to the verto cylinder in a different position, but do-able. You will also have to improvise something to hook the return spring to as the verto cylinder doesn't have the tag like a pre-verto. EDIT - see this link http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=267888 Edited by Rod S on 2nd Feb, 2009. Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |
