Why did my rad cap look like this? Is it congealed rust?

Have you used antifreeze with regular backwards flushes of your cooling system?

I didn't try it on the car, though... I connected both ends of the rad with a hose, filled it with hot water & washer tablets and left it standing upwards. [X] nail here for new monitor |
