Ok, so i'v had a look already and can't find the answer to my question which is undoubtedly very simple.

Does a T2 fit onto the standard T3 manifold, or is a set of mirage manifolds actually needed?

If it doesnt fit onto a T3 mani, is modding it easy to allow it to fit?

Cheers and thanks for your patience!

search for t2 adapter plate

in short its an easy job to fit, but it is not a straight fit as the studs need to move

the worst bit is getting the exhaust side of the turbo sorted. i went down the route of using the t3 elbow and making adapting plates to fit it to the turbo. Some have a made their own manifold head. That looks like a better idea.

Would this work:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/T2-T3-Turbo-Manifold...b#ht_500wt_1156

or do i need this one?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/T2-T25-T28-T3-TURBO-...2#ht_1295wt_907

I'll take some bigger steps fabricating my own bits when iv got the equipment (what would i need by the way to knock up my own adaptor?) and learnt some fab skills

There a bit on the big and expensive side. Paul S had some adaptor plates not long since. Maybe he can help you out?

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

I just slotted mine. Seems like a bodge, but has never leaked or given me any other grief. Roberts is done like this too and has been fine for a good few miles now.

Ok, so I'v actually already got an adaptor lol *Clapping*
Bought a T2 off JT and he kindly threw in the adaptor which I totally forgot about. Thats one less problem out of the way.
Now to just get all the bits and get cracking (after my uni finals of course) *Nerd*
