Took my bottom end block there to be re-bored to +040, which was a 020 increase on its exisitng size was told if needed to go to 060 (040 increase) then there would be an additional charge.

Bores were marked and so left it with them to see if it would clean up at 040 two/three hours later had a phone call to tell me the block cleaned up okay and they were now waiting for my pistons to hone them in. Meaning they were an honest company who could of made more out of me.

Took in pistons couple days later and again they honed them in the same day.

Really was impressed fantastic service and turn around time. Not only this they were the cheapest in the area too!

Wolfie have used them a few times and had alot of pwople recomend them to me, i have not heard one bad comment about them seem to be top notch and bloody good prices

used them quite a bit they have always been very good i would say middle of the road cost wise as well.

sorry only just seen this.

Havent got receipt to hand as its back at home but was around £140 ish inc vat.

edit: I was actually forwarded to these guys from Swindon Engines who said they take all of their race engines to those guys, so very reputable within the area

yeah it was, I found other places near by were 150 without vat =/

was that expensive do you think? They skimmed the top of the block as well ( I think anyway its nice and clean now and looks alot tidier than before :) )

Sounds a bit expensive to me, yes. I used to pay about £60 at my machine shop. Then I bought a boring machine & can do them myself for free ! :)

nevermind, I was happy enough, if I had the pistons to hand it would of been done the same day which is a really good service :)

I actually found the receipt for this on the weekend, was £115.80 inc vat :)
