cheers, how much did you get it for with the trade card? I have a trade card but just assumed it wouldn't reduce the price much since it isn't their own brand.

Alternatively the ones minispares sell are really beefy. But the ones halfords sell are well up to the job IF you use more than 1 washer behind the head of the bolts. I've used one a few times and had to put 2 extra washers behind, and still managed to dome all 9 washers on the puller. With one washer it almost started to pull the bolts through the puller with a 2ft breaker on the centre nut. And I'm not a heavy guy. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

I usually snap the big bolt.on the halfrauds ones after a few uses. In the end by bought one from the 60s from ebay and haven't managed to break it yet... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

God knows how that snapped Andy. I've even had an impact gun on it once for a ridiculously stubborn flywheel. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Using a Brett is a sure fire way of breaking bolts. lol If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
