That's good to know, 150 is my target, 160 would beat my expectations.

not surprising the MG cam runs out of puff around 6000rpm, that is what it has always done, the turbo changes nothing in that respect. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

6k and fell flat on its face in van. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Why not use hi lift rockers? I have seen quite a number of turbo motors using 1.5 rockers. I know people say the 1.3's are better but has anyone done back to back comparisons? Drives

I'm not really fussed about it not revving over 6k as I haven't built the engine to take it constantly.

I wouldn't have though a phase 2 would give you that much over the MG. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

in my 998 the N/A metro cam keeps pulling to 7000 rpm and levels until at least 7500 rpm (hit the rev limiter) |
