I started tuning my mpi the same way. St3 head, 1.5 roller rockers, k+n induction, decent exhaust system, 52mm throttle body from a lotus elise modified to fit. Then overbored to 1360, sw5i cam, close ratio gearbox, 3.2 final drive, ported inlet manifold. It went really well until i had gearbox troubles, though im in the prosess of rebulding to that spec. Cheers, dan |

Did you ever have any fueling issues welshdan? yea im a bit worried my box will throw the toys out of the pram so im going to give it a rebuild, do you mind me asking what broke in yours, from what i read its the bearings fail which is the problem so been looking into just replacing them. try save some money. Dan has a point, the Mpi boxes are notorious for being shit. Worth sorting that while the engine is out.
