I've got one. Works fine. I wouldn't use the sump plug adaptor as you lose the magnet.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

I'm liking the idea of the MiniSport sump plug, but wouldn't you ideally want the temperature sender to be in direct contact with the oil ?

Metric is for people who can't do fractions.

I'm using something similar. It keeps things nice and neat.

Make sure you order the correct thread.

I have one with the magnet on John, I believe it was a minisport one I was supplied with. The plug has passageways to the sensor iirc

I have one of the Minispares sump adapters in mine without the magnet.

is the magnet really that important if the oil is regularly changed along with the filter.

I would hate to think that the reliability of the engine was dependant on that little magnet which is also seperate from the pick up.

I wouldn't go without it, especially as sometimes you pull them out looking like Christmas trees!

I don't have the magnet on the plug anymore. ( broke of one day) but placed a magnecor between filter and filter house. Works good but don't think you can use it allong with that part.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018
