Wonder if anyone can help......

my metro turbo seems to have developed a little problem, itll rev up to 3k but then start to splutter, you give it more go and it'll try and cut out. if it cuts out it'll start up again, run nicely, then do it all over agian!
ive heard that its a pretty common problem but noone ive spoken to knows how to sort it!

any advise would be hugely appreciated!

Go through the Manchesterminis post first.

That trick also solved my problem with this, but i think mine was a fuel regulator problem too as that was on its way out! left the T piece in place though (because dave does this too)

Waiting for a new ignition module to arrive i will let you know if this solves the problem. I will keep you posted if I come across any soloutions.

So annoying - so near but yet so far away.

just tried the t piece, it started but then cut out after 30 secs. ive read that the coil and ign module might be the next things to check?
theres a super gold coil on there at the moment. would it be worth changing it? as ive heard the lucus gold coils arent the best for them?
